02 / WHAT DRIVES COST
Seven things that move the price
- Position: Gulshan, Banani and expressway faces command more than residential streets.
- Size: larger faces cost more, though not in a straight line.
- Facing: the side that meets heavier or slower traffic is worth more.
- Term: longer bookings usually lower the effective monthly cost.
- Season: Eid, Pohela Boishakh, year-end and election periods push demand up.
- Illumination: neon, lit and LED formats cost more than printed boards.
- Package: combining several faces or formats often unlocks a better rate.
03 / THE FINE PRINT
Costs that are often left out
- Printing of the billboard skin is normally separate from the rent.
- Installation and any re-installation if you change artwork mid-term.
- VAT, tax and AIT are usually quoted on top of the media rate.
- Foreign remittance tax may apply if payment comes from abroad.
- Content production for LED and metro screens.
Our quotations show media, printing, installation and taxes as separate lines, so nothing appears later.
04 / PAYMENT
How payment usually works
Typical structures are an advance with the work order and the balance staged across the term for static boards, 100% advance for 30-day metro campaigns, and an advance plus balance after installation for yearly airport signs. Approved artwork is due about 72 hours before a static board goes up, and about five days before a metro campaign airs.
05 / GET MORE FOR LESS
How to get the best rate
- Book early for Eid and year-end.
- Be flexible on the exact face: a nearby alternative can be cheaper and just as visible.
- Combine formats: a static board plus an LED screen on the same route.
- Take a longer term where you can.
- Ask us to compare three options side by side.
QUICK, STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Questions buyers ask before they call
What is the price of a billboard in Dhaka?+
There is no single price. A static billboard in Dhaka is usually rented by the year at a rate set by its position, size, facing and demand, with printing, installation and taxes on top. Call 01840 860 284 for today's rate on a specific site.
How is LED billboard advertising priced in Bangladesh?+
LED billboards are sold as airtime: a cost per minute per screen, for a minimum number of minutes each day (often 60), across the dates you book. Premium junctions cost more per minute than secondary locations.
How much does metro rail advertising cost in Dhaka?+
Metro in-coach screen campaigns are priced per minute of screen time across the network, usually for 30 days, with full payment in advance and VAT, tax and AIT on top. Call for the current per-minute rate.
Is VAT included in billboard rates?+
Usually not. Rates are normally quoted excluding VAT, tax and AIT, which are added in the quotation.
Why don't you publish a rate card?+
Because rates and availability change week to week, and a published list would mislead you. A two-minute call gets you today's rate and dates for the exact sites you want.
